art at this moment /dance/ love + work / try to have good balance / camera / sound you can never here. supersonic sound./ i used to own company and had a branch then the japan depression now. so he had to stop. a reason to come to tokyo to send the money to home. my honest opinion is children are bigger then oneself. i want to have them most! so i move to tokyo manage to get money for children. the kids might miss me. i stay in touch. i am a tool for my children / ART. but i dont wanne suffer anymore / inding the place to live. when i make smth then my inspirations make me very passionate work - art - love in a more relaxed way/ - WHATS THE DISTANCE BETWEEN BERLIN - TOKYO ? they like each other. but culture and social very different maybe 6000km away/ really really far. 15 hours. 2 million kilometer/ i always wanted to go. dont know why. maybe i read comic a berlin based adolf- atom boy -3 man named adolf in japan in berlin. but even i have been there berlin is still far maybe 10 000 km / 8000 km i would say in mind: in germany people are more indivual. most important is saying own opinion - showing that - showing to smb. japanese do sometimews even. more important is making something together. or just making relationship better. i feel if i could say my opinion here. it would be much faster. the is climate different. japan is more warm/ 8752 km / 7000 - 8000 km 12 hours by airplane/ 10 000/ i have to guess 14 000/ huge distance in my mind. geographical distance maybe 2000 km/ - WHAT IS TYPICAL GERMAN FOR YOU? ordnung. germany is also changing. precise thinking. very very funcional like japanese. punctional/ many german lots of thinking.. deeply thinking.../ they way they move/ how ? pose is good and straight/ very good posture. i met so many german they are all different. maybe thats unique... each different/ keeping rules. japenese are the same way too but japanese are more relaxed... history... big thing we know... german are not proud. to much guilt. mostly same in japan. self confidence of germans is low / arrogance but open hearted. precise. humour missing. wiseacre/ with my wife at our 10 -20 -30 anniversary we went to thailand. we met one german tourist... and i was reading about germans. i think its great in germany. they are pioneering. punctual /stress. serious. industrial. iron. serious. tall. nice bread nice coffe. beer. nice flat. long words/ i took german class in high school. but i havent been. but one exchange student stayed with me. precise. architecture. straight lines. color nice. white and grey. not many different colors. well organzied and well designed. einstein. buckminster. - DO YOU FEEL WOMAN AND MAN ARE EQUAL IN JAPAN/ GERMANY? no i dont think so socially physical no germany not either. maybe all over the world / i hope so. lots of japanese doesnt think so /no for japan/ soometimes needed to be diferenciesits goood to understand the differencies. we should appreciate the difference. cant say about germany/ the surface yes.its trying to be and it will be ok but man and woman are different... education yes. german woman stronger than japanese woman man ? maybe same / more in europe / japan is a patriarch society. horrible. stuck structures and not much movement. i guess it takes another 30 years to change that/ yes basically equal but have to behave different. some unequal in social terms like wages. men tend to get promoted easier/ dont know/ its unequal. but its getting better. in my family my wife is stronger. i want her to be happy / no - its also different in other areas in japan. unequality. in germany i dont know. in england ? yes i guess its equal/ in our world woman lack persistence.../ in japan no / same chances.. sometimes female better. in social sense equal / mind and sense are different an way to think/ i think man made this social system . thats why system is difficult for woman/ but maybe this days woman system would be more suitable in reality (male answer) cause if man moving world they just do war and fighting/ - DO YOU INFORM YOURSELF ABOUT GERMANY? yes. merkel is president/yes. i watched tv.news. it said german president is now woman/ no / yes ... merkel just became president. i thought german government was really cool. support of natural electricity .... i wish japan would do that. germany more economical... maybe changing now in japan. koizumi ? respect to him... he is a breaker / crusher. cleans up a little bit but poilitacally east asia china corea he behaves right wing . his attitude is nationalistic and patriotic but i vote him / you just changed and became female president/ no not really/ i dont know... cant remember the presidents name but i can picture his face/ a woman is your president. dont know the name. since i went to berlin. i know more. it became more realistic/ HAVE YOU BEEN IN GERMANY ? mayn many times/ no. met germans in university / twice/ many times/ no/ 3 times/ 2 times this last 2 years WHATS YOUR STRONGEST MEMORY ? berlin wall fell down/ i wanted to study german philosophy. working with concept and technology/ sick - drunk - work hard. had a good time. used medicine/ first time we went by steam train to merseburg 1998 to visit a friend/ very strict for time. sometimes i came late. they turned mad/ - WHAT GERMAN ARTIST DO YOU KNOW AND REMEMBER MOST? what is spiritual. not so much religion / more like a hybrid - just a habit.../ professional pioneers. in our days people need methods .people like relaxing / many japense. lost important spirit. we confused. today i need to find spirituality. japenese spiritual. we have to treat nature with respect / i believe in spirit. its protecting you. lost families protect you. believe in coincidence / used to yes i guess. but there is so much stuff... its changed after the war... many stuff came. we just accept anything form outside. before european came - western culture - dutch first and japenese where afraid of it and they brought guns (dutch/ portugies). after the war i guess everything became western culture / religion seems to sit deeper. its not exclusive with shinto and buddism. more tolerance same is in work strong loyal beahvior towards colleaugues or the company or the boss. but japanese people definitley need to chill out more / difficult. not really ... not more than others. work alot ?? depends on industry.. other not. depends on law.... / japenese people are not anymore spiritual. its something about in our DNA we want to live in modern society. but we know its wrong when people stop being spiritul its the end of the world / god is everything / like the trees / after 2ww we lost / we didnt want to be interfere to the world / in within 20 year we got number / we are bad loosers we dont wanne loose. we were trained.... we lost 5 teeth since the ww2. we didnt eat meat much in the past now the american influence makes us fat their food. we didnt have chocolate / we used to have a good life. we were actuallly happy. we thought america was the best / honestly i cant compare with the past... i can only imagine how it has been. not its like reading about a differnt country reading about ancient japan but some places it still exists / - HOW CAN YOU SEE THAT A JAPANESE PERSON IS SAD ? in the context of personal. we can feel precisly but express little by behaviour. by silence betwen the words. many expression. polite and formal. the post modern character is startin to speak more / we need more spirit / i have to ask! i can read them but not 100 % sure / expect you to understand. sometimes over thinking / its easy. its differnet way to express / they are so shy .. its difficult / i cant read them either / i can read europeans easier. europeans more open about their emotion / from facial expression. i spent 5 years in uk i came back for a few month you had some problem to do so now i turned back sensetiv to it / same happend to me in europe i couldnt read europeans. it matters how long you stay with people but maybe japanese facial bones are smaller . might be difficukt to see the smaller smile / - WHAT COUNTRY YOU IEALLY WOULD LIKE TO LIVE IN? italy/ latvia. a place where i can built my own house. many years of building... / i love japan. but i am curious about other countries / once i chose germany it was good... / why do you love japanes. i like the climate. 4 seasons i love / south corea / so far my fav place is burma. but i would love to live in the countryside or a little island / salomo ? tzubaly / pacific but i will die in japan i think / i looked around many countries. havent decided yet. / japan. uk. new zealand auustralia taiwan so far havent decided / japan - DO YOU THINK EVERYBODY IS AN ARTIST? i respect artists. yes evverybody can be an artist. conceptual. they can watch the world taking some distance and imagination. be critical and intuitive / yes they are / you become artist when oyu decide it. if not not really / its hard to call yourself an artist. if you can you are one / yes / yes / thats what i was told in a lecture. i dont know depends on definition on art. in western concept yes. in japanese not / art is a limited field. can i be an artistic fisherman / in professional way its different but art is up to the audience or observer / so everybody could be. its up ti induvidial to honest / everybody has an artistic sense
